Biography & History



Born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. I started as a musician in my high school days in the 60's playing drums and guitar. Most of the bands I played with I also took on the role of lead vocalist and bandleader. At an early age I started handling all of the booking and the business side of things. At that time, it was during the founding days of what was to become the legendary Lamont Cranston Blues Band. During the next 35+ years I worked in almost every aspect of the business; playing, managing, PR, promotion, producing, and booking. Lamont Cranston has played with many artists from Muddy Waters to The Rolling Stones.

Over the years I have developed friendships and business connections with many industry professionals, including Dan Aykroyd, Jim Belushi, Bonnie Raitt, and more. Whenever Aykroyd opens a new House Of Blues venue, he calls on the band to perform at the Grand Opening events, along with The Blues Brothers.

Currently I run my own Entertainment Agency and still deep into my 15+ year tenure managing The Lamont Cranston Blues Band. I work with a variety of artists, venues and industry professionals and welcome even the most challenging projects. I am also experienced in writing CD and live show reviews, artist profiles, artist biographies and press releases. Examples of my work also include graphic design, brochure design, ticket design, marketing, merchandising, artist development, artist management, tour and travel management, sponsorship design and negotiations, media management, among many, many other projects.

In every aspect of my personal life and professional career, I try to conduct myself with patience, courtesy, sincerity and honesty. I strive to make attention to detail and perfection two of my goals.
